<p>The talk will cover topics on Opportunities in the 10<sup>th</sup> Malaysia Development Plan and Roles and Functions of Bumiputera Committee (Sabah and Sarawak) in the Prime Minister’s Department to assist and monitor Bumiputera’s participations in commerce and industry.</p>

<p>DCCI is organizing a one day Seminar on “Products &amp; Services” provided by Rubber Industry Smallholders Development Authority (RISDA) in Marudi on Sunday 15<sup>th</sup> May 2011.</p>
<p>The Seminar is one of DCCI’s on-going activities to increase awareness on the products &amp; services provided by RISDA especially for those landowners who are interested in planting Rubber trees, as a means towards improving their economic livelihood. More than 50 participants are expected to attend.</p>
<p> The Seminar will be officiated by Mr. Libat Langub, Secretary General DCCI.</p>
<p> The Speaker will be En Baharuddin Amran, Ketua Stesen RISDA,Miri/Limbang/Bintulu. Detailed presentation on how to plant the latest clone of Rubber trees and the most up to-date management of Rubber Smallholdings will be delivered during the Seminar and to be followed by Questions &amp; Answers Session.</p>
<p><span id="more-544"></span></p>
<p> A similar Seminar was held in Lawas on 17<sup>th</sup> April 2011 attended by some 100 participants where Application forms for RISDA’s assistance were also given out to the participants. Following the Seminar a number of applications for RISDA’s assistance from Lawas were reported to have been received by RISDA in Miri.</p>
<p> The Seminar is free. Limited seats are available on first come first served basis. Those interested to attend are requested to contact Mr Telajan Luyoh, DCCI Supreme Council/Regional Cordinator Marudi/Miri at HP 019-4875725, 019-4876716 or DCCI Secretariat at 082-425821.</p>
