About 200 Dayak women throughout Sarawak are expected to attend the above Seminar.

In view of the importance of women in capacity building, DCCI has invited Professor Dr. Madeline Berma from University Kebangsaan Malaysia to deliver and present a Paper on “Capacity Building: Women Entrepreneurial Leadership”.

Another paper on tourism will also be presented in the afternoon by a Senior Officer from the Ministry of Tourism Sarawak.

This SEMINAR is fully sponsored by DCCI. Seats are limited and available on a first come first serve basis.

Please note that DCCI only provides for hotel accommodation for outstation participants only on sharing basis and covering room charges specifically for 6^th – 7^th October, 2011. Details will be provided later.

DCCI is organizing a one day Seminar on “Products & Services” provided by Rubber Industry Smallholders Development Authority (RISDA) in Marudi on Sunday 15^th May 2011.

The Seminar is one of DCCI’s on-going activities to increase awareness on the products & services provided by RISDA especially for those landowners who are interested in planting Rubber trees, as a means towards improving their economic livelihood. More than 50 participants are expected to attend.

 The Seminar will be officiated by Mr. Libat Langub, Secretary General DCCI.

 The Speaker will be En Baharuddin Amran, Ketua Stesen RISDA,Miri/Limbang/Bintulu. Detailed presentation on how to plant the latest clone of Rubber trees and the most up to-date management of Rubber Smallholdings will be delivered during the Seminar and to be followed by Questions & Answers Session.
